When we first bought our seven acres it was just a hay field. That was the start of the dream............ I first became interested in Nigerian Dwarfs in 2004. I purchased my first kids in the spring of 2005, and as other goat people will tell you, that is when the madness started. I soon realized that these goats had a way of wrapping themselves around your heart. I have plenty of people ask me why I have goats but it's not something I think you can easily explain to people. These gentle animals are generous and entertaining. They make great pets and they can really fill a milk can. All of our kids are raised on CAE free dams and are handled daily, so they are very friendly. |
